day 7

Weather is getting warmer today and that is good news! Hopefully it will be around 18 degrees by the end of this week. Lesson was as usual and another day of project management module. We have to rush and ensure that we finish the whole module by the end of 6 weeks. Therefore we have 5 hours of lesson every day. This can be very tiring and lethargic as the air is very cooling which make me feel like dozing off in class. However, this cannot happen if not I will miss out a lot of useful information.
After class we went to "Shopping Mall"~ "shao ping mao" again! Just that this time we went there ourselves by bus! Everytime was the China students who bring us there but now we decide to go on a little adventure and find the mall ourselves. We also went further down to explore the area.
We passed by these few buildings as we explore

Don't you think that her hair look like a bird nest?
And we also passed by something like a "pasar malum" in front of the shopping mall and two guys dressed up were dancing with the music and making "satays" at the same time.
Don't their Ice cream truck look cute?! Poor workers had to stand in the cold to sell ice cream! I saw one of them were shivering as we passed by.
Reflection:
Glad that we found our way around Wuhan without help from our china students. It is important to be independent and dare to explore new places. It is really fulfilling to do things independently.
However, something that caused me to have a bad impression was during our dinner at pizza hut. Their customer service level standards are much worst then Singapore's. There's only 3 waitress in the whole resturaunt serving the customers and it took us so long to get our food. Even ice cream, they take at least 15 minutes to serve us.But there was one thing that they are very quick at!...which is the bill!

  1. Hi Teeli, good that you are observing and learning lots of things about their service levels. I believe, by the time you return to China again in a couple of years? in the future, you will probably be able to compare whether there is any improvement in the level of service.
Without this initial observation, it is difficult to know whether the quality service levels in China has improved or not. Take care, Lim Choon Boo
